Night-wandering
these Oregon mountains
intoxicates my spirit
nature’s beauty
stretching beyond eye’s reach
moonlight drifts down
dreamlike
setting aglow
the forest’s canopy
silver’d beams streaming through
a sky of stars
dance diamond-like
on mirroring lakes
serene and sacred
this magical realm
my soul swoons
