Love Fractaly

”A fractal is a way of seeing infinity”Benoit Mandelbrot

Ever folding in upon itself
in an infinite replication
as it expands to infinity
pattern upon pattern
in a complex unity
of cacophonic
harmony
of like form
differing layers
amorphous balance
in an eternal fracture
of evolving perfections
occurring simultaneously
on micro and macro planes
of mystery and comprehension
both appearing and disappearing
in the same linear moment of time

in this way
fractals mirror magic

and love

    1. I had no idea what was expected here Grace, I was just using my expression of how observing a fractal impacts me. Have no grasp of what fractal poetry is!? 😐

  1. Grooving to the video!! “Fractals mirror love” is spot on! I also think it’s about the duality of form. Your poetic form here displays the duality well.

  2. Your fractal poem is bang on, since no parameters were pre-set. I used four styles with my piece, hoping to juxtapose symmetry with raw edges and fisticuff phrases. We both used the infinite mirror image; great minds.

  3. I think you got the feel of fractual poetry very well, even if I sm nit sure what it is exsctly..the closing is real…very.

  4. Rob, I love the twist in your poem. I read it again and again with both fractals and love in mind. Then when I looked at the top image it looked like two fractals staring deep into each other’s eye lol. The visualization video was trippy. I remember visualization program built into old computers I had and thought they were neat. This one takes it to a new level. Love what you did with the prompt!

  5. Infinite replication …mirroring to infinity

    Shape of the poem

    Conclusion

    Excellence woven in ????????

  6. You’ve really captured how we see infinity through the patterns of a fractal. Something small reflecting the whole. Something ephemeral and restrained by time giving us a peak into that which is eternal and everlasting.

  7. I am so much in love with fractals! Have been for years. Had not heard of fractal poetry, but your poem certainly echoes the fractal shape and movement, which to me seems a perfect interpretation.

    1. Thank you Rosemary… 🙂 I just tried to capture in words what I saw unfolding in front of me on the screen and projecting further what final impression it left me with.
