“Nothing happens unless first we dream.” Carl Sandburg
S tep beyond perception’s dreamgate
take hold the strand continuum
ride the light that carries you
through is, was, to will be
transcendence window
all becomes the one
in the perfection
of pure being
here now
alive

profound, succinct, and spiritually thought-provoking.
Pleased that it resonated for Tzvi… 🙂
Hear, hear! I’m with Tzvi, Rob ~ this is amazing and very thought-provoking (my favorite kind of poem!)
Much love,
David
Thank you David! Like you and Tzvi, I love to write poetry of both an ecstatic and an existential nature, thereby exploring both a positive joyful philosophical perspective and a crisis philosophical perspective. I have written many more than I have ever posted. I am deeply, curiously drawn to the meaning, the purpose, the why of this thing called life. The relationship between the finite human and our vision, be it joyful or dreadful, of the infinite.
Thanks for the invitation to ‘step beyond perception’s dreamgate’ and ‘transcendence window’, Rob.
You are welcome Kim… 🙂
Such an interesting perspective on the prompt, Rob!
Dreams are a window into our subconscious. I like the idea of the dreamgate. Thank you!
You’re welcome Merril… 🙂
Sounds like the ultimate destination, as past, present, future dissolve along the way.
To all become NOW.
I haven’t read a good concrete poem in awhile. Nicely done!
Thank you Jennifer… 🙂
Here and now is what matters most.
I concur my friend. My dreamgate takes everything to the NOW, past present and future. It is a time compressor.
dreamgate says it all
Glad it spoke to you wrong for me, it was just an ecstatic outburst my friend. 🙂
Great take on the prompt Rob ????
Thsnk you AJ… 🙂
