Whose lips in rain stir joy anew?
…kissing you
will footsteps in raindrops start hearts talking?
…storm walking
is pure fallen rain soulfully invigorating?
…stimulating
no time for procrastinating
we are here face to face
wrapped in the storm’s embrace
kissing you after storm walking, so stimulating

Rob, ooh la-la! First I like your digital images and how the water shines on them. I also like how they are so wrapped up in each other they don’t know it is raining. Love that song by The Fab 4 and that pic of Paul and Geo. They look so happy.
Thank you Lisa. I remember when the rain was invisible to my pounding heart. One of the verbal prompts I used when extrapolating my core rendering was — “give the rain a metallic essence”. So young, so in love… mmmmm 🙂
you poured on a thunderclap of passion here Rob – lovely!
“we are here face to face
wrapped in the storm’s embrace”
Thank you Laura… 🙂
I pity anyone who has not had such a moment in the rain…
Thank you Frewin. Splendor in the rain is a potent type of magic… 🙂
hear, hear!!
David, yes 🙂
You have found the romantic beauty of the rain. Reminds me of a day walking in the rain when I was younger with a summer love. We were oblivious to the rain, holding hands and kissing. There is something sensual about rain the way it rolls off the lips. You have stirred a memory.
Rain is romantic. Mini mini songs about kissing or being in love or making love in the rain has existed over the years because there is a romantic attraction to rain being with someone you love.
Oh yes. Oh yes! Removing my cloak of ‘modesty?’ I confess to more than one tryst in the rain under a tree.
Wonderful memory. There is a coziness and sensuality with rain.
Gorgeous poem. Enjoying your original digital art pieces.
Much????love
Thank you very much Gillena… 🙂
A storm’s embrace is so passionate. Love this one!
Thank you Grace… 🙂
Nothing like a walk in the rain! Thanks for sharing those early photos.
Thank you Sara. They look just like photos don’t they? They are not, they are both images that I created digitally. I began learning how during COVID. It is a brave new world.
