I am a vampire
I am the danger that you desire
I burn in your blood like unholy fire
You say you don’t want me I say you’re a liar
I’ll take you beyond death and then take you higher
I am a vampire

‘higher’ ‘vampire’ great rhyme!
Thabnk you Jane…
Never say it’s just a “little death” when dealing with a vampire
It’s generally not in the lexicon, when it comes to vamps Björn. But hey, with a shevamp so beautiful — what a way to go my friend… 😉
I am the danger that you desire===scariest line!!!!
Perilously Judy, for many, men and women, danger can be a strange attracter in their earthly relationship — often with unfortunate outcome(s) 😐
Love the rhymes, the steadily building tension, the unyielding, singular declaration repeated: the dramatic flair you do so well, Rob.
Thank you Dora — I love to create atmosphere and/or tension. I think it’s the frustrated screenwriter in me. An addiction I acquired playing make-believe as a lonely child, and further exacerbated by my years with Lucasfilm LTD. My two favorite topics — love and trouble… 🙂
“I’ll take you beyond death and then take you higher” – great line!
Thank you Nicole, very gracious… 🙂
Wonderful rhyme scheme and this is a masterpiece of a line, “I’ll take you beyond death and then take you higher” Great one, Rob. 🙂
Thank you so much Kitty… 🙂
I’m a sucker for her counterpart, “he.” Love the truth ringing from it.
Thank you Lisa… 🙂
Vampires may suck, but this fine work does NOT.
Thank you my friend. Sometimes I can get my rhymemobile in gear… 😉
Great rhymes, Rob!
Thank you Kim, I appreciate your kind words… 🙂
