Grief


Your unforeseen death came so very swift
ripping into my soul a deep ugly rift

you were so innocent, such a gentle, sweet gift

my shattered heart broken, my dreams now must shift

as back through precious memories I lovingly drift

grief tugs hard my heart, lil’ buddy, you’re so missed!



On 3/6/21 I lost lil’ Edgrrr, my forever buddy!

  8. I’m so sorry. Losing a pet is a big thing. They nestle in our hearts, don’t they? This is a lovely, heartfelt tribute. Bless him, he looks so gorgeous.

  10. You lkow this question has no answer, right? It just is. I would never say “Just get used to it”, but I will say this: There is no answer to this question, or –if there is — it’s this: Edgrrr was sent to remind you (remind us ALL) that all things are temporary, are to be enjoyed while present, remembered after they disappear, and to teach us to be as alive as we can be, be as kind as we can be to others because — like Edgrrr, they (ie we all) are only temporary.

    1. Thank you Ron… I’m feeling better. Choke up only occasionally now. Edgrrr was sent to all of us here, especially me, to remind that no matter our own problems — love is still genuine, and a precious gift we give each other, and unconditional love is very rare. Mindfully treasure it while you have it!
