Freckled Sterling

~

I’ll never forget
the bright copper stand
reflecting fire-like
‘cross the mirrored lake

mimicking the blaze
scorching my heart
my burning love
for only you

nor the night sky
deep and vast
freckled sterling
above our heads

that precious moment
when first we kissed

    1. Well, pucker up, brother, you scored again. Your fikrst stanza is killer. Nice to see that most of us have overlooked the dystopian mantle of our current lives
for today, and reinforce the romantic, the joyful .

      1. The unstoppable believer Kate, thats the incurable romantic — that’s one bad dude because he is driven by love power, by positivity — the complete feeling that he can! That nuclear baby!!

      1. It is the duality of great powerful love Kim. The hot and the cold the high the gold and the sterling… and the love, the powerful competed circle of love — duality is a completeness, it embraces it all — the good the bad / happy sad, / the warrior the lover. The power / the weakness — Powerful in the completeness.!

    2. Amazing how the backdrop of a precious moment is forever ingrained in our mind and heart. I read it twice as it is so beautiful read aloud.
