Love’s Rescue

You came
deep in my summer
on wings of spring

filled with wonder
exuding hope

fresh and sweet
as a blossomed breeze

you breathed new life
into my old soul

awakened forgotten passion
stirred my dreams
ignited new joy

you were love’s
beautiful rescue

    1. The older I get Ron, the more I miss that heady feeling I had falling in love with my Kathy, fleeting and fantasy-laden as it may be — that initial period is an amazingly powerful intoxicating trip!

  1. Rob you do a great job of bringing those feelings of new love into focus. There really is nothing like it. It’s like a drug, and I think that’s why so many go through endless serial relationships. Why does it have to be that way!?!
