You came
deep in my summer
on wings of spring
filled with wonder
exuding hope
fresh and sweet
as a blossomed breeze
you breathed new life
into my old soul
awakened forgotten passion
stirred my dreams
ignited new joy
you were love’s
beautiful rescue

Beautifully hopefully and sweet.
Thsnk you De… 🙂
Awww. Tres Romantique!
The older I get Ron, the more I miss that heady feeling I had falling in love with my Kathy, fleeting and fantasy-laden as it may be — that initial period is an amazingly powerful intoxicating trip!
This is like a baby being born!
Could be read that way… 🙂
We could all use those wings…
Certainly make some dreams come true…. 🙂
Rob you do a great job of bringing those feelings of new love into focus. There really is nothing like it. It’s like a drug, and I think that’s why so many go through endless serial relationships. Why does it have to be that way!?!
Thank you my friend… 🙂 Lisa, I think because we haven’t found a safe drug to replace that prolonged feeling of falling head over heels for someone… 🙂
Lovely poem.
Thsnk you Arcadia… 🙂
A beautiful poem of sweet renewal, Rob. We all need to have that fire of passion and love reignited from time to time.
We do Dwight, but not always easy. Stokes the human coals… 🙂
A fair swoop in. Lovely, Rob.
Thank you K… 🙂
There’s nothing like falling in love, Rob, at any age, and you’ve captured that feeling in only forty-four words!
Thank you Kim… 🙂
A sweet romantic.
Much????love
Thank you Gillena, much love to you… 🙂
