Totally gone — I am I’m sure
and I doubt that there’s a cure
from this fever of sweetest bliss
for that wasn’t simply just a kiss
will I ever waken I cannot tell
I’m caught up in your heavenly spell
this is magic — more than what it seems
I’m lost deep in a lover’s dreams
if I’m asleep then it’s just fine
these sweet dreams are quite divine
my angel baby here’s a wish I make
wooo…ooo baby — let me not awake
my golden slumbers do not forsake

Smiling – I really enjoyed this lyrical piece. Caught in a lover’s feverish pitch. Some dreams you don’t want to wake up from.
I hope you are well
Thank you True! I am well, hope you are too… 🙂
Cool that you went the “lovers” route. Classic Rob!
Well JR, I am either grumpin’ or humpin’ — oh no, did I really just say that!? 😉
Sweet dreams asleep and awake. Lovely Rob!
Thanks Kerry!
I love the golden slumbers. It is the waking that’s hard.
That’s the gist og my poem Sherry… 🙂
“magic more than what it seems” it always is. That’s why I believe in magic, with no way to understand it what else. Chemists may sometime break down love into more simple elements. 🙂
I liked the 60’s song, “Angel baby” a lot.
Also, since I have my newly released Paul McCartney book from the library with every lyric he ever wrote and with comments I might learn. I don’t remember his offhand now, tomorrow “from the book.”

Gotta get that book Jim. Very cool my ftiend!
Not even 5am in Bend and I have a huge smile on my face, swaying in time to the music!!
Keep smilin’ keep swayin’ Helen … just keep on keepin’ on my friend… 😉
I would always want to know how you are doing, Rob .. always.
I will do my best Helen. I have a series of appts through December with my cardiology team, my Rheumatologist, and my endocrinology group. Trying to see if there is anyway to delay my decline.
Sounds dreamy Rob…
Thank you Marion. 🙂
Love the idea of solid partners as angels. 🙂
Many many types of angels Chrissa.
