lilting golden
‘long an autumn lane
carried gentle
on the winds
the rustle of aspens
lush and hush
like the murmur
of whispered passion
from a lover’s lips
a’tremble with desire

and what a beautiful photo…
dear rob ,
i won’t tell lies. i have read very little of what u’ve written –
in what little i have read , i have found elegance & grace .. & a controlled tremor
many thanks ..
Quite exotic! Especially love the delicious sensuality of “lush and hush”!
I love the way you’ve animated nature here. Beautiful.
Rob–

Thank you–lovely work. I read through all the poems you had posted.
Beautifully said. The whisper of those leaves can be like a secret message from a lover. It takes a quiet soul to hear it sometimes.
Very nice soothing poem with visual imagery to match your photo. All tied to passion. Very nice.
twas real good imagery that u created. esp the comparison of the lips..!

I can feel the passion, such lovely words with photo, just exquisite. Thanks for stopping by my site too.
Ah, yes, the murmur of the aspen – this is a lovely piece!
Twisting gently in the soft sunny breeze not wanting to let go, not yet. The season is far too short. I want to stay. I like the view here.
full of quiet passion, the growth of old forests. lovely!
A veritable Druidic meditation!
That I’d like to see, the trembling aspens out west! I love how you personify the A’tremble aspens as a lover’s natural desires found so naturally in nature and human nature. It not A’tremble something quite musical and mysterious, and magical.Mmm!
