Defiled

B eauty filled the heart of moon child
wondrous earth set her dreams in motion
sunny beachs were one reason she smiled
as was moonlight on the sand by the ocean

sand castle’s magic, the gift of moon child
creating her sand castles left her beguiled
her vivid imagination was amazingly wild

but now she, as do I, find it quite tragic
the way earth’s oceans have been defiled
her dreams have sadly lost their magic
broken, is the pure heart of moon child

    1. Thank you Sanaa. I have become borderline bipolar, so I fully understand the switch my friend, and how quickly it can be thrown… 🙂 Also for me, I am drawn to darkness, and find the feeling melancholy attractive, even liberating at times. 🙂

  1. Wise and wonderful … and I must add, a great fold poem. I failed the form test but will try again one day. Sending hearty greetings your way.
