just the very smallest dab
will do ‘ya
ground red ghost pepper
it adds a fiery flavor flair
ground red ghost pepper
makes flamin’ foods that rip
right through ‘ya
soon you’ll be cryin’
as you’re kneelin’
deep in prayer

Ha! YEP. My hubby has a college friend who boldly (and with bravado) took a bite of one once, to show off. It brought him quite literally to his knees.
A fun piece, Rob!
Your hubby’s friend is either brave or unstable… 🙂
For fun De, I have added a link on the post to a singing version I ‘sorta’ sang of my piece here, Ghostin’… ????
Hahaha!
The repetition of “ground red ghost pepper” makes your quadrille songlike.
As I wrote it RW, I was singing sn old Brylcream gingle in my head – before your time. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-rj59WagOj4

That’s a hot one!

Hot and spicy pepper. I watched the video but, now I have it looping in my head. lol…see what you’ve done. Too funny
That was my diabolical plan True… 🙂
Even touching hot peppers gets that oil on your fingers. Beware of where you touch! What is it with guys and their ghost peppers! Some old co-workers used to have contests on who could eat them without spewing in some way.
Me and really hot peppers do not mix Lisa — guess I’m not macho enough. There is a cream for pain that is filled with hot peppers — I hate it.

A fiery piece! I remember Teen Titans from years ago when my son was small. I will take your word for it with the ghost peppers here, I’m a mild salsa kind of girl! 🙂
Tricia, ghost peppers are certainly a hot topic… :). I have added a link to a singing version I ‘sorta’ sang of my piece here, Ghostin’… ????
Hahahaha I love spicy food but it does not always love me, so I can relate!????

Happy New Year
Much????love
It’s hot hot hot Gillena! 🙂
Never tried it, never want to, but sometimes even red pepper seems preferable to the cold!
It’s a very unique experience Jane… 🙂

Rob, Red ghost peppers can make you feel like you want to give up the ghost, sure enough. ???? Enjoyed the musical rendition of “Ghostin”!
The melody was fashioned after a Brylcreem commercial jingle from the 50’s & 60’s.
Loved it, you singing it gave me an idea that this could be an advertisement on TV for “Ground red ghost pepper” hehe
It would be a hot little jingle… 🙂
I have never been close to such heat… it sounds to me more like something you use to prove yourself than from culinary reasons. I have never ventured further than the Habanero.
It, I believe, is a misguided proof of courage Bjorn (or stupidity)? I think you’d be wise not venturing deeper into Scoville country — it is a painful experience, coming and going… 🙂
Those red peppers are something to be wary of for sure! This is gorgeously rendered, Rob 🙂
Thank you Sanaa… 🙂
