Original DDE™ surrealistic art: “Hands of Time” by: rob kistner © 2/19/24
There is a needing
there is a caring
there is a receiving
and a giving
a gratitude
make genuine
your heart
as you reach
to gently touch
such knowing hands
blessed by time
enwrap them in love
understanding their fate
may be your deliverance

Powerful words, so well spilled. We can learn much from those wrinkled hands, indeed.

I am remembering Frank Sinatra right now … crooning Young at Heart … never imagining then, I would be so old my hands would not look like my own, except that they are.
You know how much I enjoyed this, Rob.
But inside of us Helen, all of those that we were — are still… 😉
Ah, the hands have touched much in life as we leave a trail of fingerprints in the journey…but, if we are lucky our hearts will feel the depth of love.
We’re lucky and so many levels True — hell, we’re lucky just to have been born.
Thank you as ever, Rob, for the well-rounded combination of words and music – and that visual image of the elder-wisdom of Hands that Have Experienced Tender Touch.
You inspire and encourage me!
Sending much love to you and yours.
