Here’s a light take on procrastination…
So Stop Asking!
•
it is not my place
to decide for you
what you should
or should not do
nor where
nor when
nor how
nor who
all these choices
reside with you
matters mine
are in my charge
in matters yours
I remain at large

Thanks my friend!
We are indeed the captain of our own ship… 😉
But I want you to decide for me, then I won’t have to take the responsibility! LOL
I like that poem, sweet and a slight humourous twist.

…and you’ll be able to blame someone else if you don’t like the outcome… 😉
Thank you for visiting, and for your kind words!
Nice Rob, do you mind if I share this poem with my wife:)?

I see a mystery here. You seem to be graciously seconding Gautami’s sentiments — but your posted comment is date & time stamped more than two hours before Gautami’s comment was received.
Are you clairvoyant?
Gautami –
Thank you my friend! 😉
Just a bit of light humor…
There was a time, not so long ago, you may have been speaking directly to me, had you known me. Now, however, decisions come easy, it is the procrastination that refuses to let go.
I so wish others would make my decisions for me sometimes!! This poem could have been written by my mother every time I try to force her to make my decisions for me and she refuses saying “I don’t know you have to decide for yourself”!

Thank you for visiting and sharing!
Sounds like you’re dancing with the flip side of the same obstacle to action. I struggle with procrastination, owing to a tendency to perfectionism, mixed with my ADD — ends up mimicking OCD.
There’s always some way to get stuck… 😉
Kamsin –
Thanks for visiting!
I hear what you’re saying. I wrote this piece as a tribute to my wife and I. We both seem to react this way with each other — deferring decisions back and forth until one finally chooses to act.
It’s a very strange thing, given how totally independent and self-starting we are when apart… ?
What wise words delivered with a light heart – well done!

Thank you! 😉
Important truth, with a dash of humor… maybe those who need to will hear the message!
Thank you from the “Queen of Procrastination”‘
I loved reading that tonight.
And thanks for the wonderful comment on my blog.
