Original DDE™ surrealistic art: “Sacred Space” by: rob kistner © 5/7/24
Deep
in this primeval wood
secreted among the old-growth
nestles a sacred forest clearing
soft filtered sunlight
falls golden
gently through the canopy
let us go
walk with me my friend
but let us be quiet
let us listen
to the voices of nature

Rob you bring the sacred space to life with your image and your words. Love that first video and felt like I was breathing in the mountain mist while watching it.
Thank you Li(sa)! Isn’t that a wonderful video… 🙂
You’re welcome, and yes, it is! Not sure if you get Netflix, but I’m watching a great series called, “Oceans,” narrated by former POTUS Obama and produced by him and Michelle. Wonderful and I think you’d love it.
Thank you Lisa. I will certainly be watching POTUS & Michell. It will be wonderful to hear the voice again of out last great leader! 🙂
I watched the last (5th) episode last night. The name of the show is, “Our Oceans” not just Oceans. He narrates it so expertly. He is one POTUS I never got tired of listening to.
Oh Li(sa), I so sadly agree my friend. 🙁 I know the fucking Trumpster-dumpster is going to try — but Barack/Michelle was the first family we would have been blessed to have leading this country with extended terms in office. It is inconceivable how so very far we have fallen as a nation, in such a short period of history. The racism and hatred that has taken control of America, seems glaring proof that we are rapidly in descent from our position as deserved world leadership. If we truly can recover from this disaster, and right-the-ship, we might regain our worthiness as a positive global influencer. Unfortunately I see no obvious signs that such a thing can occur anytime soon — if ever. 😐 I am embarrassed for the USA right now. I am searching for something to give me hope.
Very beautiful verse, Rob.
Thank you Dwight, always appreciate your kind words my friend.
Now THAT’S a stroll I could use. Back to hospital tomorrow for knee replacement. Oy
Damn Ron, my dude!! Knee replacement sounds like no fucking fun bro! Sounds like a couple months recovery maybe?? Take care of yourself my friend.
Thank you for this lovely walk. I can feel and see the filtered sunlight.
Thank you for joining me True. It was a wonderful day for a wilderness walk… 😉
