overcome in passion’s tide
overboard into desire’s flood
away we’re swept
a’spin in fevered bliss
breathing breath for breath
until finally
great release
sweeps over us
then gently we drift
intimately entwined
afloat in sweet afterglow
of love’s lingering kiss
