radiant vision silken skinned
translucent alabaster blaze
torrid as a teen’s temptation
leaned low here before me yearning
on plush cloud so sensuous
sweet comely goddess forward bent
graceful face aglow with craving
you conjure ardor’s obsession
a’bloom in beckoned fiery swoon
forearms rest on pillow soft
thoughts aflame in primal need
lips burning smile a fetched seduction
RÄgarÄja’s daughter lush with Spring
smoldering in golden light
that folds upon you satin supple
to bathe in warmth your arched desire
divinely-pleasing luscious morsel
served up by a master’s hand
passion bound to tantalize
to hypnotize my hungry eyes
lost in carnal fantasy
fired by this goddess buff
arises now my animal
in a beastly urgent lust
to wrap ‘round
this maiden magic
flesh to flesh
to full consume
to thrust
and thrust
my randy lust
’til passion’s seed
has turned to dust
and wanton
carnal flames
are snuffed
Spring’s sweet madness
at last
enough

Delicious.
Excellent response, Rob. I loved these lines:
“aglow with craving”
“lips gently smile
a fetched seduction”
Whew, there’s exhaustion in your ending. 🙂
Wow- what an ending… love the change in, ahem, tone.

whew quite the frenzy there at the end…and all too human…smiles.
its been interesting to see the difference in the male and females responses to this image!!!.
…but Kay, what did you think of what I wrote…?
OK, I’m on fire now … this sizzles!
that folds upon you satin supple
to bathe in warmth your arched desire
divinely-pleasing luscious morsel
served up by a master’s hand … and
lost in carnal fantasy
fired by this goddess buff
arises now my animal
in a beastly urgent lust
to wrap ‘round
are such male-hot takes on this particular image. I think your poem is sexier than the image could ever be! It contains the appetizer (foreplay) right on through the dessert (climax). Very satisfying poem. 🙂
Down, boy, down! LOL
i found this a beautiful poem with gorgeous words, but i also learnt something..thank you, did Ragaraja’s daughter reach enlightenment?….or did the ending come to soon? Kay
stepping back by the heat of your verse while out for OLN…def sexy man…
Lusty…sensual…erotic…
it quite picked up pace! …at last, enough.
Yes, a man certainly wrote this one! 🙂
Yes Margaret, a man certainly did… 😉
Superb write – very sensual! Love it!
Anna :o]
so much passion for a picture
lamb’s wool
“wanton carnal flames are dust” I guess that’s with the fortune cookie! Good to see how lust would talk as this is probably what most guys are thinking/feeling because we live where we have clothes on! Truth in poetry! Phew!
You made me smile Jane, with your nod to “wonton” in comparison to wanton – but the emphasis is on the opposite syllable… 🙂 I think there is often a baser, animalistic ‘urgency’ to sex for most males, at least at some point in the proceedings — while perhaps not as typical from the female perspective…
