Nature bends lovingly
bringing blessings
pure sky water
rains nurture
pacific northwest embraces
life in paradise slows

vineyards
bursting with grapes
surrendered to harvest
nectar of the gods
pours from press to barrel
autumn celebration rolls on

So many people chose Winter’s onset, but this evocation of Autumn’s mellowing harvest is delicious and something to look forward to…
Thank you Andrew… 🙂
A rich and heady cherita, filled with nature, Rob, and mulled with wine.
Glad you liked it Kim, my friend… 🙂
I like doubling of celebrations rolling on with barrels of wine
Thank you Laura, I am a simple man of simple needs.
Celebrate good times; come on! ????
Beautiful, Rob!

…we’re gonna have a good time tonight… 😉
A lovely celebration of autumn, Rob!
Thank you Merril, very much… 🙂
I love the tension between the beutiful darkness paired with the joy of celebrating harvest.
Thank you Björn. I felt paid homage to autumn, celebrated the vineyard harvest, as well as the vintners who, at this time of the year in the Pacific Northwest, are busy at the art of their craft. It also celebrates the seasonal dimming of the light here, which brings people indoors to be with each other, and to enjoy laughter and conversation, shared with the fruits of the vine, as darkness begins to settle just after 4:00 PM — 6 hours earlier than in the summer. A time of slowing and intimacy.
I love the joy of the autumn season. You have captured the celebration mood in your cherita.
Thank you Grace… 🙂
