This poem is a manifestation of complete victory.
Kathy
my warrior
cancer’s foolishly
chosen you as a foe
it’ll never
break your spirit
you are a star
you’ll slay this beast
strike it down
you’ll be
its masters
together
we’ll fight
— ferociously
cancer’s been a fool
to choose you as a foe!
Kathy

Everyone needs a warrior star, especially in the fight with cancer. A sad but defiant quadrille, Rob.
Thank you Kim. Cancer will be getting its ass kicked! Neither Kathy nor I know how to lose, and we will not be learning in this battle.
Sending so much love and healing hugs to you and Kathy both, Rob. The two of you together will be a force to be reckoned with, that’s for sure.
Thank you De… 🙂 …we will beat this bastard disease!
I wish you all the best, it’s a fight nobody should fight alone.
Thank you Björn… 🙂
Ongoing prayers to clear Kathy’s body of the cancer completely.
Thank you Lisa! I am praying too, but above all, I have taken on the fighting spirit I had as a younger man, as a football player, and a long-haired lifter and bar singer. I feel energy filling me like I have not felt in several decades! I drove out to the mountain mid-week, and pulled over as deep into the forest as I could drive. I spent the afternoon with Kathy, sitting at the edge of a turnoff, under the giant trees, intensely manifesting Kathy’s complete recovery — as Kathy strolled deeper, under the canopy. I am now manifesting every night. I feel the energy coming towards us. Thank you for your part my friend.
This wonderful work proves that anyone with any problem before them would be extremely lucky to have you on their side.
Fight on!
I have ever taken no for an answer. I am a quite practiced as a fighter who has never known how to lose, especially in matters of health — even when I get knocked down momentarily. I may not be as strong physically as I used to be, but my spirit has the strength of a dragon my friend — and my resolve is steel in this matter. Thank you Ron, my brother.
A wonderful poem written for a wonderful woman. Keep on manifesting in the forest and get that thing beat!
Kathy and I both love our Pacific Northwest forests Kim. Such beauty and energy is good for the soul, and great for the attitude. Promotes deep healing
Forest bathing – a Japanese tradition – and looking like one that will bring you and Kathy great resolve and strength. Let the battle begin…..and we KNOW who will win! Will be sending you positive thoughts and virtual hugs in the coming months. I went online and found a small boxing glove charm and sent it on a necklace to a dear friend who is fighting this same horrific disease. She wears it every day – she is indeed fighting the good fight as are you and Kathy.
Kath and I fully believe in the cleansing power of forest bathing for the spirit snd the body. Kath snd I have chosen the sword as our symbol of our fight. This is the necklace pictured below, that I gave her this week. We will win this battle my friend!

I so hope you and Kathy win. Cancer is a terrible foe.
Thank you Suzanne — we will… 🙂 …we will tolerate nothing less than total victory!
A compelling piece. Well done and best wishes to Kathy.
Thank you and thank you Arcadia… 🙂

~David
Thank you David — we’re never letting up my friend, until we’ve beaten this threat.
I’m so sorry to learn that Kathy has cancer, but she is fortunate to have you at her side. I hope there are only small battles to be fought in this war. Sending hugs and positive thoughts your way.
Thank you Merril… 🙂 The test information is being compiled right now which will result in the treatment steps. We will know mid to end of next week.
Foolish cancer indeed!
Wishing your wife a complete and speedy recovery. Thinking of you both.
Thank you JYP, very much… 🙂 We’ve begun diligently fighting the fight. I’m taking her to a P.E.T. Scan this week and back to her Oncologist. Then next week an appointment back with the ENT Surgeon, and finally a joint conference meeting with the combined medical team to determine the details of the treatment and surgery. The P.E.T. Scan will mark the 4th different location around Seattle that we’ve needed to visit. The combined University of Washington Medical facilities, and their renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, are spread all around the city here. The traveling around is exhausting for Kathy right now, but she is in the care of world class doctors, surgeons, and cancer treatment facilities — so we are blessed.
Rob, so sorry to hear that news. Kick cancer in the ass and fight the good fight Kathy. You are a warrior and your champion is at your side. Sending love and light
